Whiskey Jack band leader and banjo player Duncan Fremlin began to tour and record with Stompin' Tom in 1990.

Then in 1993, Duncan and his band Whiskey Jack teamed up with Stompin' Tom and began a cross Canada tour in Ottawa at Tom's historic Canada Day, Parliament Hill show.

Tom and Whiskey Jack continued to tour, perform and record together until Tom's death in 2013.
