Award-winning Estonian Voices is an a cappella vocal sextet that loves to mix it up. Jazz, classical, and folk styles all find their place in their repertoire, which includes both original compositions and traditional pieces – along with inventive renditions of pop hits. Their artistic director and main arranger is Kadri Voorand.
Their unique sound is shaped by six strong and distinctive voices. Their clever style fuses playfulness with absolute technical mastery, bound together with a cheeky smile and a charming sprinkle of vocal artistry.
The group has performed extensively across Estonia and toured internationally in Germany, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, and China. Collaborations have included the Estonian Dream Big Band, jazz vocalist Datevik Hovanesian, and former M-Pact artistic director Britt Quentin. They have also shared the stage with New York Voices and Take 6.
Estonian Voices released their debut album, Ole Hea (‘Be Good’), in 2014, winning Estonian Best Jazz Album of the Year 2015. Their second album, Taat läks lolliks (‘An Old Man Lost His Marbles’), released in 2018 and their third album, Kallimale, released in 2024, also both earned Best Jazz Album of the Year.
