Catch the 7-piece jazz powerhouse Soulstice live at Motel Chelsea for a fun, feel-good afternoon of swing, funk, and Latin grooves—all while supporting the Wakefield Community Emergency Fund.

This is a free, non-ticketed event, and while we’ll be passing the hat to collect donations for the Wakefield Community Emergency Fund, we hope you’ll consider contributing to support this great local charity.

Lunch / Brunch is available with our kitchen open until 3:30pm. Reservations are strongly suggested. We are an intimate 85-seat venue, so every seat is a great seat!

About the band:
Soulstice is a 7-piece jazz powerhouse performing instrumental jazz standards, funk, Latin and swing tunes, all with the view that their music should be accessible to everyone from jazz newbies to experienced enthusiasts.

Soulstice features a horn section with trumpet, saxophone and trombone. The rhythm section covers drums, bass, guitar and keyboards. Many of their tunes are original compositions or special arrangements for the band.

The band serves the whole Ottawa and Gatineau region, performing at public events as well as private functions. Please check us out at Instagram and Facebook.

À propos du groupe :
Soulstice est un groupe de jazz puissant composé de 7 musiciens qui interprète des standards de jazz instrumental, des morceaux funk, latins et swing, avec pour objectif de rendre leur musique accessible à tous, des novices aux amateurs confirmés.

Soulstice comprend une section de cuivres avec trompette, saxophone et trombone. La section rythmique comprend batterie, basse, guitare et claviers. La plupart de leurs morceaux sont des compositions originales ou des arrangements spéciaux pour le groupe.
