Sienna Dahlen is a Juno award-winning vocalist. She is also a music educator, an instrumentalist and a composer of six albums of original folk and jazz music to date. Her 2012 album entitled « Verglas » received rave reviews and was signed to the longstanding Montreal jazz label, Justin Time Records. In 2016 « Ice Age Paradise » was released and it features a collection of original compositions that were arranged by bassist, Andrew Downing for a 10-piece ensemble of incredible Toronto-based musicians. In January of 2020, Sienna recorded a duo album of jazz ballads with guitarist, Bill Coon entitled « Balladextrous » which is set for release on Cellar Live records in 2023.
Sienna has toured her music extensively across Canada, Europe, and parts of the US in addition to numerous appearances in Mexico and South America. Sienna has also collaborated on several national and international projects as a co-leader/lyricist with musicians such as Joel Miller and his « Dream Cassette » band (Canada), Mads Baerentzen’s « Lifelines » project (Denmark), Lebanese pianist and composer, Wassim Soubra's « Dunes » album (France) and Paris-based Canadian drummer, Karl Jannuska’s « Streaming » and « The Halfway Tree » records. Sienna also appears on Jannuska's « Midseason » record alongside vocalist Denzal Sinclaire and is the voice of Mike Rud's 2014 Juno award-winning album « Notes on Montreal ». In addition to these collaborations, Sienna has been a guest vocalist on several occasions with L'Orchestre National de Jazz de Montreal. Finally, Sienna is the featured singer on the soundtrack for the 2007 Oscar-winning animated short, The Danish Poet by Torill Kove (music by Kevin Dean).
Steve Boudreau is an Ottawa-based pianist who specializes in jazz and popular music. He has taught private lessons for over 20 years and is a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association, the Eastern Ontario Friends of Conservatory Canada, the AFM, and the Jazz Educators Network. In 2010 he received a Master of Music degree in jazz performance from the New England Conservatory in Boston. He has toured extensively across the United States and Canada, and has performed as both leader and sideman at various jazz festivals. His recording output includes six solo piano albums, a trio album featuring unique arrangements of the music of George Gershwin, and many collaborations. His latest trio album, Cherished Possessions, has been receiving praise and radio play all around the world.
