Sarah Segal-Lazar:
Sarah Segal-Lazar is a multifaceted creative force, dazzling audiences as an award-winning writer, director, actor, and singer-songwriter. Sarah’s music has been called “folk and country at its best.” Reviewers have described her songs as “simply mesmerizing” and “so gorgeous, they made the air go still.” Her latest album, VALLEYS, produced by Canadian folk luminary Matthew Barber, is out now. Sarah was nominated for Folk Music Ontario’s 2024 Recording Artist of the Year.
Liam Simpson-Russell:
Liam S. Russell is a Songwriter based in Ottawa, Ontario. He writes lyrics exploring characters and stories based on Canadian small town lives. He is in his third year at Carleton, where he is expanding his songwriting craft with Kalle Mattson (a Juno and Polaris nominated songwriter). His influences include but are not limited to Bob Dylan, Gillian Welch, Jeff Tweedy, John K. Samson, Tom Waits, Christian Lee Hutson and Elliott Smith.
Wild Remedy:
Wild Remedy is a trio of Ottawa-born musicians with a love for chilling harmonies and all things folk. Bringing new life to the Canadian folk genre, Wild Remedy promises to take audiences on a journey of self-discovery to the soundtrack of upbeat acoustics and astonishing harmonies.
