Capital Sessions and the NAC are bringing you a series of FREE community house dance workshops.

It's family and beginner-friendly. The DJ plays deep soulful house music from 1:30 to 3:30 pm and the dancer leads two 30-minute workshops at 1:30 and 2:30 pm. You can just dance, learn or listen and vibe out, it's a beautiful space with amazing music.

No experience required. FREE.

DJ Pithra

Pithra’s journey as a DJ/Producer started in 2010. From intimate house parties to clubs and festivals, Pithra has captivated audiences with a diverse soundscape. Spanning the wide spectrum of house music, his sets seamlessly blend Afro/Organic with Prog/Minimal influences. Based in Ottawa, Pithra is not only passionate about music but also about fostering community. This passion is evident in his role as co-founder of the collective and label Music.Art.Ppl.

Simon Klassic

Simon "Klassic" X is a dancer from Ottawa. He started training popping and locking in 2008, learning from the legendary Toronto popping crew the Brothership connection and the creators of the style and teachers of Michael Jackson, The Electric Boogaloos, later to become a part of the EB family. Simon has traveled the world, teaching and competing worldwide, known for his funky moves, grooves, and skillful technique.
