The OGs is a brand new Ottawa-based blues band.

But we're not just another blues band. The blues have evolved from the 40s to the present, and we've dedicated ourselves to performing the blues of many different periods and styles.

We perform tunes from some of the original masters, like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, and Little Walter. We include the urban blues of Memphis, Chicago and other cities, celebrating artists like "the three Kings (B.B., Albert and Freddie)", Charlie Musselwhite, Paul Butterfield, and Junior Wells. And we acknowledge the continuing evolution of the form by including the work of Boz Scaggs, Robert Cray, Eric Clapton, and Keb' Mo'. Finally, we enjoy and perform the work of more contemporary performers like the Tedeschi/Trucks Band, Gary Moore, Steve Winwood, Colin James and Johnny Lang. We pride ourselves on our arrangements of this classic music.
