From Beaconsfield (QC), Brittany Kennell packed her bags over 15 years ago to complete her studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston. She then spent 8 years in the writing streets of Nashville. She became the first and only Canadian to be on NBC's "The Voice" when country superstar Blake Shelton pushed his button.
While in Nashville, she has written and played with some of Music City’s finest. Since then, Brittany has been featured in Rolling Stone, CMT, Pat Monahan’s “Train Tracks” on SiriusXM, American Songwriter, ET Canada, and more. She is a national anthem singer in rotation for the Montreal Canadiens and has sung for the Grand Prix F1 and MLS Montreal Impact.
With a modern country sound inspired by Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert, and Maren Morris, mixed with some roots and rock influences such as Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, and Sheryl Crow, Brittany's debut album, "I Ain’t a Saint," hit the shelves. She then became the first and only Quebec female country artist to perform at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. This SiriusXM's "Top of the Country" semi-finalist has been opening for Matt Lang’s Quebec tour in 2022, and Ariel Posen in the US, UK, and Canada. Along with festival performances at Boots & Hearts, Lasso (as ambassador), and Calgary Stampede, her debut record was named one of CBC Music’s 21 most anticipated albums of the year and CBC Music's top 15 albums of the year. She is currently working on her sophomore album, "Pink Collar."
