MASC (Multicultural Arts for Schools and Communities) celebrates 35 years of arts and culture with a 35th Anniversary Gala on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the National Arts Centre. Headlined by award-winning artists Kellylee Evans and YAO, this spectacular evening will feature hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and performances from dancers, musicians, poets, and more - showcasing the transformative power of the arts.
For 35 years, MASC has brought professional artists into schools and communities, igniting creativity, cultural awareness, and self-expression for over 160,000 children, youth, and seniors annually. Our diverse roster of over 55 professional artists and artist groups represents a wide array of cultural backgrounds, including Indigenous artists, people of colour, newcomers, 2SLGBTQIA+ artists, and artists with disabilities and other equity-deserving groups. Through our programming, we celebrate diversity, foster inclusion, and ignite creativity.
Now, as we celebrate this incredible milestone, we invite you to join us in ensuring MASC’s impact continues for years to come. Your presence and support will not only make this gala a success but also directly support arts programming for equity-deserving communities across Ontario and Western Québec.
A note from MASC: If you are interested in sponsoring the gala, we would love to discuss how you can play a key role in this celebratory evening. Please contact Executive Director, Micheline Shoebridge: michelineshoebridge@masconline.ca
