During his time at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Toronto-based guitarist Mike T. Kerr has lived his life through many contemporary musical styles. Always curious to dig up not only a song’s history, but the shape of the world at the time, Mike plays passionately and openly while interpreting the great guitar players of the past. A Danny Gatton lick or Django Reinhardt tune is never far from his fingertips.

Trombonist Peter Turner is known for his work in the traditional jazz scenes in Ottawa and Toronto – as well as for his vast repertoire of jazz standards and early-20th century tunes. Expect Mike and Peter’s first-ever duo collaboration to deliver a variety of lesser-known yet melodically engaging vintage tunes with warmth and good humour.
