After numerous performances, including her sold-out album release concert at Club SAW, award-winning Afro-Caribbean artist Jessie Simmons is bringing Haitian music and culture to the National Arts Centre for an unforgettable night of live music, energy, and celebration.

This milestone event marks 10 years since the release of Jessie’s debut single, Fly Away and showcases her journey as an artist who has captivated audiences with her powerful voice, dynamic stage presence, and signature blend of Afro-Caribbean rhythms.

✨ Alex Legrand – Lead singer of KHASH Empire, a New York City-based Konpa band founded by Alex “Legrand” Parada, Kervin “DwetMedamYo” Bazile, and Ralph “Watchou” Bazile. With roots in bands like X-TASSY and ENPEKAB, KHASH Empire blends tradition with innovation, embodying authenticity and cultural pride while leading the next generation of Konpa.

✨ Music by DJ Velvet – An award-winning DJ, community leader, and entrepreneur who has performed on tour with Juno Award-winning artist Charmain*. DJ Velvet has graced major stages, including Juno Fest (presented by CBC Music), the Juno Awards weekend in Halifax, and Canadian Music Week in Toronto.
