Each month Bluegrass Wednesdays begins with a 2 hour concert followed by a jam session.
Concert goers are encouraged to bring your instruments and /or voices and join in for a post concert jam.
The Monroe Sisters have been a cornerstone of Bluegrass Mondays since its inception. While the lineup has changed and expanded over the years, the focus is still the same. Centred around the female voices, they bring a fresh sound to the genre with both traditional and well chosen newer material - all supported by excellent instrumentation. With each member of the band singing lead, the audience is treated to a great variety of beautifully unique voices, harmony stacks, and song choices. The Monroe Sisters have become an audience favourite for their talent and fun performances. There’s nothing like “sister” harmony!
Guitar - Pat Moore
Banjo - Sherry Philp
Fiddle - Elizabeth "Bibs" Foster

FOLLOWING THE CONCERT will be a jam, off the stage, open to anyone who wants to pick and sing some bluegrass songs. So, bring your instrument, or your voices if you want to take part in the post concert jam. Let's make it a great one!
