With catchy melodies and infectious rhythms, this indie pop musician infuses a variety of genres, including pop, funk, indie folk, indietronica, dance, and rock. In addition to composing his own music, he writes fiction and has scored music for film.

August John is an Indie Rock artist and live act from Ottawa, Ontario. He is inspired by music of Ginger Root, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, John Frusciante, Mac Demarco, Tame Impala, and other artists within the indie niche. August John aims to provide catchy, authenticity written tunes that showcase the undying spirit of the DIY-indie artist.
